Fire and Light is one of those companies that sounds so good on paper, you WANT to give them your money. The company started back in 1995 as a partnership between a Recycling Center in Humboldt County, California, and a group of local investors who wanted to develop a plan to transform crushed, recycled glass into a distinctive line of colored glass dinnerware. The smart and forward-thinking John and Natali McClurg purchased the company in 1999.
