According to the Vermont Woods Studios website, up to 90% of imported furniture and flooring in our homes comes from illegally harvested wood, logged mainly from the rainforest. It is so sad what we do to save ourselves a few bucks!! Vermont Wood Studios features artists working with recycled or sustainably harvested wood.
